Introduction to Sewing Machines

Do you have a sewing machine in a closet somewhere that you would love to learn how to use but you have no idea where to start? Let me help you get familiar with how a sewing machine works and get you started on your sewing journey! 
 
In this private class, we will go over all the basic parts of the machine and how it operates. You will learn how to thread the machine, wind the bobbin, replace the needle and do basic maintenance. We will practice various stitches and learn how to use various presser feet. All materials will be provided. 
 
We provide machines to sew on during our classes. You are welcome to bring in your own machine if you are comfortable working on it but we will not be able to troubleshoot or service any machine issues during class.
